I thought he played pretty well for us. As for the curfew, Dirk is reporting at OtF that the two of them were only an hour late. Not exactly what we've been hearing.

I place alot fo the blame for what happened on him...he was the vet in the situation and he failed to help out with the younger guy.

Paul, don't forget about AK 46. I'd like to see a full year with him on our team. It was obvious when the brostitsyn's were out on a line together, they were very dangerous. Trotz just doesn't like offense.

I don't know what the culture was like up in Montreal. Given the accounts of how the Brostitsyn's conducted themselves while up there I'd say it wasn't as regimented as the Preds seem to be. Radulov already flat out said that he was always able to do whatever he wanted in the KHL. No one ever told him no.

If that's the case and the coaches/leadership group didn't make it clear how things operate in the Preds locker room then they're just as much to blame.

As it is, if they were really only an hour late then I think the suspensions were a little over the top. Fines, maybe, but not suspensions. If they were out until 4am then I'm fine with the suspensions, but if they were only an hour late then they left Scottsdale at the time of the curfew.

I guess we'll never know the full, real details, so I'm going to refrain from judging anyone too harshly. They did what they did, and they understand that they let their teammates down. Contrition is important. Hopefully everyone, including the staff and management, has learned from this.
